Founder and CEO



L'Tanya Johnson-Coombs is a Licensed Business Owner, Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, SPHR & Certified Coach Practitioner, PCC.

She holds a BA in Political Science/Pre-Law, Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management and is currently working on her dissertation towards a Ph.D. in Business Management and Organization Development. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.


L'Tanya also served a total of 10 years in the United States Army as an Adjutant General (AG) Officer on active duty and in the U.S. Army Reserves. She later held several HR Director positions while working for GE, Raytheon, and a leading manufacturing company with multiple locations in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. In the Executive HR roles, she was also the advisor to the CEO, Senior Management and front line managers.



Services Designed with Efficiency in Mind



HCI was started after a request to conduct coaching and set up a mentoring program for a client. Since 2013 HCI has been continuously growing and moving forward. From working with clients in the Hampton Roads area to all across the United States, we enjoy bringing value and forming connections with the people that we are fortunate to work with.


We believe that leadership development programs, such as executive coaching and mentoring should be more than a yo-yo or peaks/valley program.


Coaching and Mentoring are value added programs and with time generate proven results that positively impact employee turnover, productivity, collaboration, employee engagement and overall commitment within an organization.
